It’s August and that means kids are beginning to head back to school across the nation. In some areas, kids are already back in class. In others, that won’t happen until the beginning of September. But there’s no arguing that school supplies are on the minds of parents right now.
Stores tend to focus on everything from clothing to backpacks for Back to School, but one category often left out is sports bags. If your child is in school sports, they’re sure to need something to carry their gear around in. Whether they need a versatile duffel bag or something sport-specific such as a lacrosse stick bag, purchasing a new sports bag for the new school year will help ensure that your child is ready for practice and games.

Yes Yes, Lacrosse season may “technically” be over. But for us enthusiasts, Lacrosse is a year-round sport. Being a middie myself, I though I might give all you lacrosse junkies the heads up on one of my favorite lacrosse bags, the Under Armour Midfielder Backpack. Perhaps one of the more versatile lacrosse packs, the Midfielder can be used as an everyday backpack as well as a lacrosse specific pack. The pack sports a mesh water bottle holder, fleece lined media pocket, and a stick sleeve. The bag is super durable, and if you are anything like me, your lacrosse bag takes a regular beating. All in all the Under Armor Midfielder Backpack really puts its money where its mouth is.

When someone mentions backpacks, what comes to mind? School children with book bags?
Maybe you think of a bunch of different images. That’s because backpacks are truly a versatile type of bag. Even packs designated as “school bags” can have multiple uses including travel and sports.
There are, however, types of backpacks designed for specific activities. Hiking backpacks are a good example of this. Other examples include bat backpacks, hunting backpacks, lacrosse backpacks, ball bags, and hydration backpacks.
Below are some examples of the more unique backpacks tailored for specific sports and activities.

Whether you’re hiking, mountain biking, running, or skiing, hydration is imperative. And what better way to keep hydrated than taking water with you. And by that I don’t mean carrying bulky water bottles (and creating all that waste). I mean carrying a hydration backpack and no one does hydration packs better than CamelBak.
CamelBak has spent more than a decade developing systems that allow people to access their water quickly and easily. Every pack is tested with professional and amateur athletes and outdoor adventurers so that you can be sure these products can survive your own adventures too.
